Tatçelik Laboratories
In order to ensure high-level customer satisfaction in Tatçelik Çelik AŞ Laboratories, the laboratory team provides control of all processes from the entry of the raw material into the factory to the delivery of the appropriate quality final product to the customer. In this context, main, intermediate and final products undergo quality control in the product process. The laboratory team also provides technical services to the customer and provides services for the development of the product portfolio.
Mechanical And Metallography Laboratory
Tatçelik provides physical and chemical controls of the raw materials coming to the factory in the Mechanical and Metallography Laboratory and assesses their pre-production suitability. By performing physical and chemical controls of the products coming out of the line, it enables the appropriate product to reach its customers.
In the laboratory; for Product Testing and Certification, Raw Material and Process Controls; Elemental Analysis (with OES Method), Hardness Tests and Flow-Pull-Elongation Tests and Surface Roughness Analysis are performed. In addition, with the Sample Preparation equipment and Optical Microscope, the semi-product and final product Micro Structure reviews follow the steel structure cleaning.
For process controls, in the Galvanizing Line, it is regularly checked the chemical content of the Zinc pot, and XRF controls the amount of Cr3+ protected products on the surface coming out of the Galvanizing Line and the amount of pre-treatment surface before painting the surface passing through the Painting Line.
Chemical Analysis Laboratory
Tatçelik provides regular controls of chemicals and chemical mixtures used in process lines at the Chemical Analysis Laboratory.
It provides chlorine, iron, Ph, conductivity and oil ratio controls in cooling water emulsion used in Cold Rolling Lines. It also regularly controls the saponification and pollution rate of the oil used in cooling water.
The Galvanizing Line continuously checks the chemical ratio of the Cr3+ bath and supports the process for the creation of a suitable protective surface. It provides Zinc Coating Weight controls, which are critical for galvanized products. In the Painting Line, it also regularly provides alkalinity, pollution, pH and conductivity controls of the surface cleaning baths and pretreatment baths that have a direct effect on the final product.
Paint Laboratory
Tatçelik provides both wet and dry film controls of the paint raw materials reaching its factory in the Paint and Color Laboratory.
It checks the products before they are taken to the color coating line. In this context, it controls the coating area, viscosity and density in the wet paint sample, and the dry film provides thickness, gloss, surface hardness, bending, chemical resistance, and color suitability on the surface.
It deals with customer demands in a coordinated way with supplier companies in order to meet customer demand in the most accurate way. Tatçelik also contributes to product development efforts in order to expand its product portfolio in the Paint and Color Laboratory.
