Tatmetal's New Achievement at ISO 500
Tatmetal, one of the leading flat steel manufacturers in Turkey, continues to rise to the higher ranks in the list of largest industrial organizations of Turkey research, prepared annually by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry. According to the list, Tatmetal, which ranked 54th last year, moved up 23 places and ranked 31st thanks to its performance in 2021.
May 31, 2022 – Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) announced the 2021 version of its annual list of the largest industrial organizations in Turkey. According to the list, Tatmetal, one of the major flat steel producers in Turkey, ranked 31st among the 500 largest industrial enterprises with its successful performance in 2021, thereby moving up from its previous 54th rank in 2020.
Tatmetal increased its production capacity to 1.5 million tons with its successful performance in 2021 and, it has been reported to have made TRY 11,082,495,599 worth of sales from production this year.
Steady Development and Stable Growth
Making exports to more than 70 countries on 6 continents as a global actor in the iron and steel industry, Tatmetal maintains its steady and stable development thanks to its infrastructure investments made throughout the last 5 years. In the IS0 500 list, Tatmetal previously ranked 124th in 2016, 90th in 2017, 81st in 2018, 74th in 2019, and 54th in 2020. And the company rose to 31st place in 2021 and has thus demonstrated its position as one of the large industrial organizations once more.
Tatmetal manufactures hot-rolled, pickled, cold-rolled, galvanized, and prepainted flat steel in its manufacturing facility of approximately 200 thousand square meters located in Karadeniz Ereğli and supplies its products to different industries such as automotive, white goods, air conditioning, construction, building, and general manufacturing, according to the needs of the global industry. Among the main industries in which Tatmetal serves are the motor vehicle, consumer durables, construction, energy, and machinery-equipment industries.
